Pato meets Fiji Minister

Papua New GuineaMinister for Foreign affairs and Immigration Rimbink Pato is pleased with Fijis progress towards adopting its own constitution.

Minister Pato’s comments follow talks in Sydney with his counterpart republic of Fiji Foreign affairs Minister RatuInoke Kubuabola.

Australia’s Foreign affairs Minister Beb Carr is also very pleased withthe ongoing development in Fiji.

Also discussed wasthe progress onthe PACP Secretariat to be established in Port Moresby.

The Ministersalso took note ofthe MSG Jubilee celebrations which will take place in Port Vila, Vanuatu.

Followingthe meeting in Sydney Minister Pato left for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to attend a non-renewable energy conference.
