Round 16 of the National Rugby League has been run and won, with the Warriors, Rabbitohs, Eels and Roosters amongst those who chalked up wins on the board.
In other games, the Cowboys were shocked by the Sharks as they came from behind to win 24-18, and the Broncos were far too strong for the Knights on Friday night registering a 44-22 win at Suncorp Stadium.
The win sees Brisbane extend their lead at the top of the NRL ladder.
Sunday afternoon saw the Panthers outclass the Tigers 35 points to 12 at Leichhart Oval, with David Simmons crossing the line four times, making a mockery of the Tigers’ right hand side defence.
Teams will now sit tight and re-evaluate player availabilities for Round 17, with State of Origin sides to be named this week.
