The 13 illegal Nepalese immigrates are still inthe nation’s capital awaiting deportation.
The Beroko Police station cell was home tothe thirteen Nepalese men as soon asthey set foot inthe country last month.
Last week Thursdaythey were released.
It had been 27 days sincethey had a decent meal and shower.
When EMTV visitedthem yesterday atthe POM guest house in Port Moresby,they were inthe kitchen preparing a traditional meal.
They said it was an experiencethey will never forget. They are currently stranded in Port Moresby.
Their accommodation and meals are provided bythe immigration office and friend.
TheInternational Organization for Migration (IOM) is taking care ofthe travel documents.
To date,there has been no confirmation oftheir deportation. Betthey said IOM has promisedthey will be deported soon.
Meantime,the Immigration Task Force is in Lae to continuethe crackdown ofthe human smuggling racket inthe country.
