With only nine days to September and the start of the National Volleyball Championships, Team NCD, representing Port Moresby, held a training session yesterday at the Taurama Indoor Sports Centre under the guidance of their coaches and Association President.
The association with be represented by a number of teams, in their respective divisions, for both men’s and women’s.
They are is taking every necessary measure in making sure the teams are well equipped and ready to take on the rest of PNG at this year’s nationals.
Teams included in their respective divisions will cover under 21 for both men’s and women’s, and Open A grade divisions for the senior men’s and women’s. Also representing the national capital district, alongside NCD Volleyball Association, is Fairfax Volleyball Association with eight teams already selected for both men’s and women’s, including open and under 21.
Teams from around the country are expected to come in numbers for the championships, with Port Moresby to play host for the 2016 National Volleyball Championships.
