Nature Park Impresses Overseas Zoo

The Port Moresby Nature Park is set to commence a three-year sister- institute partnership with an Australian Zoo.

This follows inspection ofthe Park by two representatives fromthe Zoos Victoria, Australia recently.

Manager ofInternational Conservation Partnerships, Chris Banks saidthey are impressed withthe developments, projects and professionalism ofthe Park.

The sister-zoo partnership is set to focus on educational programs for school children and visitors tothe park and in developingthe skills and capacity of staffs. 

Port Moresby Nature Park General Manager, Michelle McGeorge said this will assist in ensuringthe best recreational, education and conservation based facility inthe country.
