Morobe Transport Board goes tough on PMV’s

The Morobe Transport Beard will come down tough oPMV&#39’s operating in Lae city following&nbspthe killing of Trainee pastor, Michael Kewa atthe Bemayong- Back Road. 

A 14 days ultimatum was presented tothe Morobe Provincial government by Morobe lLeaders demandingthe withdrawal of alPMV’s owned by Western Highlanders.

Betthe transports board has relatedthe issues according tothe jurisdiction ofthe land transport board. 

The transport board has agreed that alPMV&#39’s operating inthe city will be directed to supply various information including license and residence ofthe business to allowthPMV to be closely monitored bythe transport board. 

This will also comply withthe Policy Direction issued bythe Morobe Provincial government to ensure thaPMV&#39’s operating inthe city must be 60/40 percentage, where sixty percent of alPMV license going to Morobeatns and forty percent tothe non-Morobeatns.
