Morobe Show Committee: Expect Bigger, Better 2013 Show

People in Morobe Province andthe nation can expect a bigger and better Morobe’show this year.

 

Last year’s event was a big affair, with people coming from Madang,the seven provinces ofthe highlands includingthe New GuineaIslands.

A total of ninety thousand people pasted throughthe gates than and takings were roughly at four hundred thousand Kina excludingthe taking from stalls.

 

The show is Papua New Guinearsquo;s premier entertainmentocultural and Agricultural show that will see a lot of participation.

 

The committee PresidentoMike Quinn says thatthey are preparing for a much bigger showthen last years.

 

“We are expecting to see as good as previous shows,” he said.
 

The annual show isthe biggest marketing event for all major businesses in Lae City because an unprecedented number of men, women and children are expected to flood intothe gates ofthe Morobe Show Grounds.

 

“We are inthe process of organizing sponsorship,” said Quinn.
 

The show is a community affair that brings in a lot of revenue for the revenue commission, business houses and ultimately government coffers.
