Poll workers of the Moresby North West electorate are demanding an explanation from the Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission over unpaid allowances.
They claimed they were informed these payments were stopped.
And they want a positive response from the Electoral Commissioner, Patilias Gamato.
The poll workers fronted up at the Papua New Guinea Electoral Commission headquarters in Port Moresby on Friday over their unpaid and underpaid allowances.
They told EMTV News their efforts to allow the electoral process to proceed without failure must be compensated.
However they have not received any positive response since they lodged this issue.
And they are calling on the Electoral Commissioner, Patilias Gamato to provide a favourable response towards settling their payments.
