The people of Kwaiawata Island in Milne Bey province will know by tomorrow ifthere is environmental damage followingthe grounding of MV Asian Lily on Christmas Eve.
The Japanese vessel, ran a reef on Kwaiawata, located inthe Samarai – Murua District.
This resulted in oil spills, butthe National Maritime Safety Authority and partners managed to clean – upthe spill.
Member for Alotau Charles Abel however sees even bigger problems.
