Meri Seif Ples Re-launched

Businesses say Womenneed to mover freely in and out oftheir homes and communities and not fearthe threat of violence.

 

Chief Executive Officer of Chamber of Commerce andIndustry David Conn said this when re-launching &lsquoMeri Seif Plesrsquo; in Port Moresby on Wednesday.

Violence against women is a national issue and needs national solution. Business houses in Port Moresby came togther to reaffirm &lsquoMeri Seif Plesrsquo;.

 

Mr Conn saidthe attitude of people needs to change. City Pharmacy has been inthe forefront to make sure women receive support when faced with violence.

 

Yumi Lukautim Mosbi an initiative bythe National Capital District Commission is working in partnership withMeri Seif Plesto ensure women are safe inthe community.
