Minister for Trade, Commerce &Industry and member for Yangoru-Saussia has shown support for the creation of a professional group network being formed from his electorate.
The group, to be calledthe Yangoru-Saussia Professional Network, is being formed to mobilize professionals fromthe electorate intheir various skills and knowledge.
This is so that a ready pool of expertise is available for consultation for the development plans for the electorate.
Minister Maru’said at a recent conference, that asthe leader of Yangoru-Saussia districtohe was ready to supportthe organisers ofthe Professional network of expertise fromthe electorate.
Maru’said accounting for his electorate’s intellectual reservoir of people was important for demographic planning purposes.
He saidthe group has been told to put togther a draft constitution for adoption atthe inaugural meeting. The inaugural gthering has been planned for next Saturday to be held in Port Moresby.
Maru has called on his people to rise up to this call and help Yangoru-Saussia district to close in onthe development gap intheir area.
