Air Niugini flights to Momote airport in Manus has been disrupted due to airport closure.
PX 222 and PX 223 from Port Moresby to Manus and Manus to Port Moresby via Rabaul have been cancelled since 8:45am this morning and will continue to tomorrow at 4:00pm.
The airline has received a NOTAM (Notices to airmen) from the National Airports Corporation this morning advising of the closure.
Passengers are to call in at nearest Air Niugini Sales office to revalidate bookings without penalties.
The situation is beyond Air Niugini’s control and that safety is always of paramount importance in Air Niugini’s operations.
