Leaders from the Central Province will still go ahead to push for the rice project.
The five parliamentary members for the four districts in the Province including their Governor, Kila Haoda will not accept the Agriculture Minister’s call to terminate the proposed project.
They will be putting out a paid advertisement to rebut on the Agriculture Minister Tommy Tomscoll’s statement in the media yesterday.
The leaders argue the investment laws of PNG do not stop an investor from investing, if it will boost local employment and bring benefits to the society.
