The Lae Yacht Club launched its' dart competition last night, which brought together 20 teams.
The competition will commence on the 20th of August and will run for 5 weeks.
The Lae Yacht Club dart competition was initiated by several corporate partners including professional dart players.
This was to provide a competition avenue for aspiring dart players to enhance their skills as well as socializing among their colleagues.
Over the last decade, darts has become a household sport played either in a competition or during a gathering.
It was predominantly played in coastal communities in the country; however, the sport is widely gaining popularity.
This competition is aimed at bringing together corporate employees from industries to government offices, to relax and socialize among themselves.
Whilst running the competition, new talents are expected to be identified to be part of Team Morobe for darts in this year’s PNG games.
