You may recognize her from the Twilight Series, as Bella, the girl with the constantly vacant expression, but recently Kristen Stewart, has made headlines for another reason.
“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected,” Stewart said in a statement released on July 25 after pictures surfaced of her affair with the Director of the latest box office hit “Snow White and the Huntsman”, Rupert Sanders.
She went on to say, “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.” Rob as Stewart calls him is non-other than her co-star and live-in boyfriend Robert Pattinson. The pair started dating three years ago since the start of Twilight series which they both star in.
Hours after Stewart’s apology, Sanders released an apology of his own “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family. My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
Rupert Sanders, who is married to leggy British model Liberty Ross, has two children- Skyla, 7 and Tennyson, 5 from his ten-year marriage to Ross.
