Counting continues in Central Province today and Provincial seat, progressive results after count 27 as at 3:29pm this afternoon, Independent candidate Kilroy Koiro Genia is in the lead with 6964 votes, followed by sitting member and New Dawn Transformation candidate Alphones Moroi with 3927, and Independent candidate Kila Haoda with 3822 running in third.
At 3:19pm after count 27 this afternoon, sitting member Puka Temu ofOur Development Party is in the lead for Abau Open with a massive 10,896 votes followed by United Resource candidate Kelly Onne with 4751, and Independent candidate Iati Ai with 3946 votes.
In the Kairuku-Hiri Open after count 41 as at 5:50pm yesterday afternoon, Peoples National Congress Party candidate Paru Aihi is leading with 8474 votes followed by Peter Namea of PNG Party is in the lead with 5933 votes, and Henao Iduhu an Independent is at third with 5732.
After elimination No.2 for the Rigo Open, Ano Pala of People’s National Congress Party maintains his lead with 5085 votes followed by People’s Labour Party candidate Wala Gamu with 2947, and Turai Elemi and Independent candidate with 2826 votes.
Meantime, Goilala counting is still on hold due to ballot disputes.
