The lone female candidate vying for chairmanship inthe Motu Koitabu Assembly elections believes a proper government’structure in place will bring about effective service delivery.
Ato Patricia Kidu is among thirteen male candidates contestingthe seat.
She originally hails from Hanuabada and Pari village inthe nation’s capital.
Mrs Kidu said this must bethe first priority ofthe new Motu Koitabu Assembly; to manage what is left of customary land.
Mrs Kidu isthe only female competing among thirteen male counterparts for the assembly chairmanship.
Meantime,there are currently over 300 women contestingthe July local level government elections.
