Kickboxing Heat 1: Garap knocks out Samuel

PNG Kickboxing put up a great show last week withthe first heat ofthe Eight man standing Tournament in Port Moresby.

Undefeated Champion Lee Henry Garap stolethe show when he suddenly knocked out Alfred Samuel inthe main event.

It was a strike of a lightning as Lee Garap hit opponent Alfred Samuel just less than a minute inthe first round ofthe main event.

Asthe bell rang for the first round both fighters started off with few kicks and punches but unexpectedly Garap attacked Samuel by giving him a good kick using his knee.

Samuel couldn’t continue any futher asthe referee call offthe fight awardingthe win to Garap.

The night also showcased lots of skills and techniques by Undercard fighters.

Vice Minister for Sport Labi Amaiu, Governor for Oro Gerry Juffa and ther Departmental Heads as well as businesses were all present to withnessthe fights.

Meantime ther regions are also gearing up for the regional heats and Rabaul is next to host heat-2 atthe end of next month.

President Stanley Nandex andthe organizing committees appreciated good behaviors fromthe public that madethe show successful.
