Australia’s Prime Minister Julia Gillard arrived in Port Moresby yesterday.
She’s here on a two day visit which also includes Meeting with Youth groups and schools.
Prime Minister Guilard arrived earlier than scheduled, greeted bythe humid Port Moresby wether. She was accordedthe usual welcome to a 19th Gun salute.
Her program for today includes breakfast with Pom Chamber of commerce, a visit to Gerehu Market.
She will have a one on one meeting with our Prime Minister today at Parliament house wherethey will sign agreements Defence Cooperation Arrangement and Police cooperation.
She will also meet with opposition leader Belden Namah. Later inthe day she will visit Marienville Secondary school.
For sports she will launcPNG Schools based rugby league program at UPNG.
A visit tothe LNG PLANT SIT is also on her itinerary.
On Saturday she will visitthe Bemana war cemetery, departingthe country afterwards.
