Isapea Restructure

by Dion Kombeng – EM TV Sports Port Moresby

Gulf Isapea have announced their new management and coaching team, ahead of the start of the 2015 season of the Digicel Cup Comepetition.

When making the announcements, Jacob Ivaroa, Chairman of Gulf Isapea, pointed out that the team only had a change in structure with many of the Isapea staff being shifted to other roles within the club.

Former coach, Bobby Ako, has now been moved to assistant; despite the change, the move will ensure a sense of continuity, within the club.

Former Kumul Assistant Coach and Southern Zone Coach, Ted Vere is optimistic for the new season.

Gulf Isapea has looked at securing a good player base, with the Port Moresby based Wests Club and the Kerema League, will be used as a platform for selection.

The final squad of 21 players will be announced shortly, and the team is hoping to improve their performance this season.
