Ipatas: Commitment to Produce Well Educated Human Resource for Enga

Various schools and government institutions in Enga province were recipients of thirteen brand new vehicles. The schools also received new uniforms.

 

Allthese were presented by Enga Governor on behalf ofthe provincial government in Wabag recently.

 

Governor Ipatas once again demonstrated his government’s vision to build a strong education system inthe province.

The Governor’s welcome tothe arena was energetic, with singing and dancing from students’of surrounding education institutions inthe province.

 

 

He told students’and parents of Enga to embrace this commitment and make use of education privileges.

 

School is not something to play around with. Many times our roads are not good, many timesthe hospitals are not adequate,… that’s okay, we will fix itobutthe first thing you need to know is that children will grow, everydaythey keep growing. Their growth will not wait for us so we must prioritizetheir education first”, Governor Ipatas said before handing overthe keys of several vehicles to tertiary institutions and government departments.

 

ther who received vehicles includes IBe Open Campus and Enga TeachersCollege. Four vehicles were given tothe provincial works department for road infrastructure exercises.

 

The outgoing Enga Provincial member said, “…the reason why we have given four cars is to generatethe capacity needed to carry out work that needs to be done within Enga province.”

 

The vehicle presentation was followed bythe presentation of school uniforms to school representatives.
