The Acting Returning Officer for Moresby North West, Karo Tiana and the Electoral Commissioner have assured the public that counting will continue despite the fact that two ballot boxes were burnt by Returning Officer Joseph Fraghi with approval from some scrutinners.
Investigations are continuing to determine why the two ballot boxes were destroyed.
