Hunters Last Chance for Grand Finale

by Dion Kombeng – EM TV Sports, Port Moresby

The SP PNG Hunters will play off against the Ipswich Jets this weekend, looking to claw their way through to the final for the 2015 Intrust Super Cup.

The Hunters, who lost last week against the Townsville Blackhawks, will be looking to bounce back with a win that would see them square-off once again against the Townsville boys in the final.

The Jets crushed the Easts Tigers grand final hopes with a 44-18 win, and are riding high with confidence for their match against the PNG boys.

Kristian Woolf, coach for the Blackhawks, said the Hunters are a great footy side and he expects to meet them once again in the final.

The Blackhawks are debutants into the Intrust Super Cup and will be looking to create a fairytale finish by winning the competition.
