Elizabeth Paike is one active member ofthPNG Womenin Business fromthe Central Province. She had sent her daughter to withdraw all her savings for food and medicine.
On receiving news ofthe sick mtherPNG Womenin Business Founder, Janet Sape, travelled to Gabadi village, an hours’ drive outside Port Moresby wherethe woman was being cared for.
Mrs. Sape was moverd by what she saw.
The Oncologist in Lae had cleared Elizabeth of breast cancer, however for 3 yearsthe sore had grown and burrowed its way deep intothe breastoleaving a fist-size hole exposed andthe mther bed-ridden and in pain.
Two weeks agothe family brought her to Gabadi to receive herbal treatment from this elderly woman. Elizabeth saidthe pain has lessened and she’s able to sleep at night.
Mrs. Sape donated K1, 000, some food and clthes froPNG Womenin Business as a giftobefore saying a prayer to ask for divine help this festive season.
