The competitions more experienced Famagusta fell to second place onthe ladder after Parliament Tambaran gave a close shave 4 frames to 3 in favor of Famagusta in round 9.
Digicel Niusmakers also fell short to Famagusta in round 10; 3 frames to 4.
The top 10 teams inthe Media Pool Competition afterthe week 5 rounds of matches are Spin Doctors, Famagusta and Next of Kin on 18 points. Lamana and Keleone are on 16 points. Nictosh, Freelancers, Cool Grafix and The National are on 14 points and FM Central is on 12 points.
The weekend matches also saw Komodo, Vemps and Post Courier take a tumble with penalty points deducted for no proper sponsored uniforms for the games.
Lamana displayed outstanding talent in its round 9 match against City Hall, winning 6 frames to 1 and moving one step upthe ladder.
The round was a disappointment for Keleone, who lost to Next of Kin, 5 frames to 2 and moverd downthe ladder to 5th place.
