The National Department of Health condemns a newspaper advertisement promoting herbal products as an alternative cure to Tuberculosis or TBe
Acting Health secretary Dr Paison Dakulala was concerned thatthe advertisement of a herbal product ‘Mahkota Dewa’ is misleading.
He says improper treatment can result in patients developing multi-drug resistance TBe and that eventually may lead to extreme resistance cases which are already being seeing in parts of Western province.
