Hayne Yet to Decide on his Next Move

Since being dropped from the Fiji Sevens side ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, former NRL star Jarryd Hayne is yet to decide on his next move.

However, the Hayne train could be making the switch to rugby union following talks with the Australian Rugby Union (ARU).

After turning his back on the NFL following a season with the San Francisco 49ers, and not making the final cut for the Fiji Sevens squad for Rio, where to now for Jarryd Hayne?

According to reports from his manager, it is likely that Hayne will make the switch back to the NRL or rugby union.

Former Wallabies coach John Connolly is hesitant about whether Jarryd Hayne is fully committed to a switch to rugby union, but believes the NSW Waratahs should give him a shot anyway.

Connolly believes Hayne could be exactly what the Waratahs are looking for, to add that extra depth to the team that has been missing.

The decision regarding Hayne’s future is still in question, as the code hopper is yet to make a firm decision himself on his future as an athlete.
