Following a number of sponsorship announcements within the past few months, The Host Organising Committee was pleased to announce the signing of official ‘wantok’ sponsor for the 6th BSP PNG Games, Hardware Haus.
Papua New Guinea’s leading hardware and building material supplier, with ten retail outlets in nine major cities and towns across PNG, has presented an in kind donation, valued at K30, 000.
This partnership with the HOC and Hardware Haus is timely; PNG Games CEO Materua Tamarua said, “Hardware Haus’ contributions will be allocated to much-needed maintenance and minor infrastructure updates [of] many of the venues where the Games are being held.”
Hardware Haus Lae Manager, Mark Curtis is ecstatic to be a part of such a prestigious national event.
“The PNG Games are an excellent way for Hardware Haus to give back to the community by providing opportunities and platforms for PNG’s future athletes,” said Mr Curtis.
Corporate bodies like Brian Bell, Trukai Industries and Inter Oil PNG have all joined the bandwagon of sponsors to contribute to the smooth sailing of the Games come the 16th of November.
