The selection of the 40 Kumuls players will not be done yet until all Rugby League Acts are in place.
Minister for Sport Justin Tkatchenko understands the importance of announcing a team early but says all issues affecting Rugby in the country need to be settled first.
Minister said, once that is done, the Government will back Kumuls selectors to make sure the best team is announced for the World Cup next year.
