The Gabadi road leading into the heart of Gabagaba village is in need of immediate maintenance.
Villagers are worried it may worsen, making it impossible to travel to the main road with their produce.
After the continuous downpour in the past week, the road is currently in its worst state.
Villagers of Gabadi said the road has not been sealed or upgraded for years since it was established.
It runs for about three kilometres into the heart of the village.
During rainy seasons, the road is a stretch of muddy puddles, after another.
Some cut so deep in the soil, car drivers created their own roads around the puddles to avoid getting bogged.
Naime Rove, representing elders in the village, is worried that if it gets any worse they would be the most disadvantaged.
In the opinion of villagers, it has become a norm that members who stand for election often over look villages like theirs.
They are appealing for the Government to look into fixing this matter.
