Five Senior Public Servants Sign Permanent Employment Contracts

Five Senior Public Servants signed their employment contracts today at the Government House.

Governor General Sir Bob Dadae was present to certify their contracts for a term of 4 years.

Among those who signed their permanent contracts, were Works Secretary David Wereh and Dickson Guina for the Department of Provincial Affairs and Local Level Government.

The 5 senior public servants were present this morning at Konedobu to confirm their appointments.

All their employment contracts have been from the National Executive Decisions in late 2017 and early 2018.

Works Secretary David Wereh was the first to sign his contract.

Acting for nearly more than 2 years, Dickson Guina was appointed for another 4 years as Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Local Level Government.

Present to witness all the appointments was DPM Secretary Ms. Tais Sansan.

Apart from the two Departmental Secretaries, Morobe and Gulf Provincial Administrators signed their contracts as well.

Marc Orisuru for Gulf and Bart Ipambonj for Morobe.

Apart from that, Raho Samuel signed as Insurance Commissioner for a period of 4 years.

The appointment of the department heads and senior public servants by the National Executive Council has been gazetted in the National Gazette.
