Fairfax Volleyball Association in Port Moresby has selected their final teams who are currently undergoing their seventh week of training ahead of September’s national titles.
The association identified a total of 96 players that were selected through a precise screening selection process, to select the best teams from the many that were showcased during their trial matches.
President, Kila Dick, said he is confident in the team’s preparations for the games to take place in September.
From the 96 players selected from the Fairfax Volleyball Association, they will see four men’s and women’s teams in the open division, as well as under 21 men’s and women’s teams.
Dick said this is a great opportunity for players to fully explore their potential, and to allow them to participate and grow the interest of the code in the country.
He said a big contingent of players are expected to travel to Port Moresby in September from Lae for the national titles.
