The Constitutional & Law Reform Commission yesterday launched a paper highlighting laws relating to waste disposal methods by mining companies.
The paper discusses a wide range of issues including loopholes inthe legislations governing environment and mining.
This follows a reference established in 2007, bythethen Minister for Justice Bere Kimisopa, following nationwide protests over environmental impacts of mines.
