Enga Case: Piari versus Ipatas

Mawa lawyers representing Enga Governor, Peter Ipatas, have filed two separate motions today atthe Waigani National Court.

The first is for an extension to filetheir affidavit andthe ther to dismissthe election petition against Peter Ipatas.

 

This is despite a ruling by Judge Collin Makail last week that extension will not be granted.

 

Beth motions were objected by lawyers ofthe petitioner, Nathan Piari. Piari is disputing Ipatas’ win as Governor of Enga inthe last National Election.

 

Beth parties will meet on Wednesday for a ruling.
