TRUKAIIndustries Limited has come on board to assistthe Westpac Outstanding Womenrsquo;s Awards for the seventh consecutive year.
It is rare to see or hear a Papua New Guinea woman’stand up and say ‘I started this initiative, and did something for myself, my family, and my community by going an extra mile.
Westpac Outstanding Womenrsquo;s Awards is breakingthe cultural barrier by promoting gender equality and recognising those women who deserved to be recognised.
“Westpac Outstanding Womenrsquo;s Awards aims to empower high achieving local women in PNG And, Trukai is very proud to be part of this award,” says Maryanne Hereva, TrukaiIndustries Trade Marketing Manager.
Maryanne Hereva is also a panel judge for the WOW Awards.
There are many Papua New Guinea women living and working amongst us who are true unsung heroes. They silently go about giving selflessly and do not recognise that whatthey are doing is extraordinary.
Trukai has been a platinum sponsor ofthe Community Responsibility Award sincethe inception of WOW Awards 7 years ago.

The Westpac Outstanding Womenrsquo;s Awards will be held on October 16, 2013.Inthe meantime, preliminary judging will be on Wednesday, September 11th (tomorrow).
