Cricket Legends to Arrive for Pacific MMI’s Big Bash

Four international cricket legends will be in the country on Wednesday the 14th of October.

They will be here for the annual Pacific MMI Don’t Drink and Drive legends big bash event.

England One day international Captain Adam Hollioake, Former New Zealand Test Cricketer and National coach Mark Great Batch, former Australian Women’s Test Cricketer and National Coach, Cathryn Filtzpatrick and former Australian Test Cricketer, Brad Hodge are the legends that will be arriving.

During their stay there will be various events that they will be attending including school visits, high performance training programs and the Pacific MMI, Don’t Drink and Drive Big Bash.

The event aims to address the issue of rising cause of deaths in the country due to driving whilst under the influence of alcohol.

The Legends will be playing alongside the Barramundis and the Lewas on Friday 16th of October at Amini Park, following the Big Bash Event, Cricket PNG will be hosting the Annual Pacific MMI “Don’t Drink and Drive” Gala Dinner at Crowne Plaza.
