The five metre conch shell, which has become a new attraction atthe Gordon’s roundabout in Port Moresby, has been defaced with graffiti.
The artwork which is part of Port Moresby City beatutification project took all of January to erect and painted to its natural colours.
The pure steel art work took artist Daniel Waswas five months to complete.
It was funded bythe National Gaming control Beard, in partnership withthe National Capital District Commission (NCDC).
The conch shell was graphit’sed overthe weekend.
Contract workers were atthe sight to clean and repaintthe graffiti today.
