Community policing rids auxiliary unit

Doing away with auxiliary Police of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary is well underway.

The decision to rid the force of this unit was made in 2008 by then Police Commissioner Gari Baki following numerous public complaints.

Director of Community Policing John Kolopen has enforced the decision in Daru and the Sandaun Province.
