On this episode of Business PNG, we feature the 2017 National Budget that was presented to the parliament.
According to the Treasury Minister, Patrick Pruaitch, the budget was framed against a relatively weak global economic environment; relatively moderate domestic economic activity constrained by the persistent low commodity prices.
Despite this, however, the O’Neill-Dion Government remains confident; maintaining priority areas and aims to achieve a sectoral balance with the available resources.
