NCD Body building Association started their training today at the Murray Barracks gym in preparation for the national championships in May. A total of six body builders including Association President, Canny Cooper had an hour training.
With a couple of new inclusions to the club, bringing the total number of athletes to 15.
Present at the training was Acting President for PNGBBF, Timai Tally, who is monitoring the preparations of all athletes around the country, for international events.
Timai said the national event will be critical for the athletes, as the final selections for the squad will be made from the Jiwaka championship, for international fixtures.
The international events will feature South Pacific Championships, Asia Pacific Championships and North Queensland Championships.
Timai is encouraging participating provinces and affiliates around the country to prepare well ahead of this year’s national championships.
The national championships will take place in Jiwaka on the 27th of May.
