A biomass measuring training is underway in Madang Province. The training focuses on the total amount of living matter by weight or volume in a given habitat.
Supported by the United States Agency for International Development (US AID), the training engages NGO’s, local community members, government officials and experts how to measure biomass.
The outcome of the training will put decision makers on equal footing of the critical management of forest and its benefits for future generations.
