Deputy Opposition Leader and Belolo MP, Sam Besil, saidthe budget allocation for Nadzab Road is overinflated, although it was good news for Lae residence.
He also said that Works Minister Francis Awesa and Treasury Minister, Don Polye, were contradicting each ther in givingthe exact cost ofthe Lae-Nadzab Road.
However, atthe 2014 Budget speech of Minister Don Polye, we found an overall total of 100 million kina budgeted for new and existing roads in Lae.
Sam Besil also urged Mr. Awesa to come clear about 5 million kina that was allocated in for the 2 kilometre Nadzab Airport road.
Mr. Besil said last week in ParliamentoMr. Awesa saidthere would be a Nothern Road entrance tothe 2 kilometre road, but to date, he saidthere’s still no Nothern Entrance.
