Among four teams from South Australia andthe Nothern TerritoryPNG isthe sixth team confirmed to participate inthe Premier League competition. This will ensure cricketers play each ther in a regular competition, played on first class facilities managed by South Australia Cricket Association.
Participation inthe Premier League will be a pre-requisite for selection for the West End Redbacks.

General Manager of CrickePNG, Greg Campbell expects that players will be keenly watched and this givesthem opportunity to be fit and ready for the ICCWorld T20 Qualifiers in Dubai later this year.
