An application by the Member for Imbongu and Minister for Works, Francis Awesa in the Electoral Petitions Court has been rejected.
The application sought to remove a petition filed against his win by rival, Pila Niningi.
Judge heading the Electoral Petitions Court, Justice Collin Makail said the application was misconceived and an abuse of the court process.
