APEC Food Festival: A Taste of Culture

Themed a taste of culture, Dynasty Restaurants for the first time, to commemorate this year’s APEC Leaders’ Summit, held a food festival as twelve Vision City food outlets displaced foods from all 21 APEC economic countries.

In line with the event, Dynasty Restaurants will donate some of the funds raised as part of its community obligation to the Tembari Children’s Care.

Food lovers filled the Dynasty Restaurant at Vision City to capacity, tasting food from all 21 APEC countries that were cooked by local food outlets at Vision City.

The food galore saw children including parents all savor the flavors.

Foods available on display were from USA, PNG, Malaysia, China, Japan, Republic of Korea, Vietnam and others.

Host of the event Dynasty Restaurants says funds generated from the event will go their wards the Tembari Children’s Care.

Founder and Director of Tembari Children’s Care who looks after children’s from as young as 5 to 16 years of age says, funds that are received as donations are used to buy clothes, and schools materials for the children.

With a massive turn out today, Dynasty Restaurants Manager, Nelma Guz says, considering today’s turnout, they are already planning to make the Food Festive an annual event.

More people are encouraged to turn up tomorrow, to taste, buy and enjoy the entertainment by Tembari Children’s Care group as funds raised will go towards charity.
