By Fidelis Sukina – EMTV News, Port Moresby

The Telikom Foundation today (19 September, 2018) donated five desktop computers to the Adult Literacy students at the Anglicare Center in Port Moresby.

The donation will help the students learn the basics of using computers.

The Foundation made a similar donation to Hope World Wide recently, when they gave laptops to their trainers.

Literacy is the foundation of knowledge in the modern world.

And the Adult Literacy students at the Anglicare Centre in Port Moresby are privileged to have computers to diversify their reading and writing skills, and to include the usage of computers.

The Telikom Foundation donated five new desktop computers to the students today.

Literacy is important and will help adults especially to cope with everyday life, and to help improve the capacity to learn new things.

The students were happy about the donation and the encouragement given by the Telikom Foundation program Ambassador Crystal Kewe.
