Works Minister Francis Awesa has announced that all major roads inthe country will be improverd.
These include Okuk Highway, Beluminski Highway, and Mt Hagen to Madang and Aseki in Morobe Province to Gulf province and Bougainville Ring Road.
Minister Awesa made this known in Enga while officiating atthe Wabag town roads sealing program.
It was refreshing for Works Minister during his visit to Wabag. Togther with Governor Ipatasthey visited various locations within Wabag. They were welcomed by hundreds that came to seethem.
Betthe highlight ofthe visit wasthe announcement of major national road works and projects. Works Minister Francis Awesa said underthe ONeill – Dion government,they hope to undertake major road projects.
The occasion sawthe ground-breaking ceremony for Wabag roads which Governor Ipatas and Mr Awesa performedthe formalities.
The project will start from Kopen to Sopas, including Ireliyer,the home village of Governor Ipatas and residential areas too. The first batch of K10 million will be used this year.
