The Air Niugini Super Series began yesterday in Port Moresby with matches held at the Amini Park and Colts Ground.
Teams participating in the tournament include Singapore, Hong Kong, Gold Coast and Papua New Guinea.

Hong Kong batted first, after 50 Overs were all out for 110. PNG beat Hong Kong 3/111. At Colts Ground Gold Coast did battle with Singapore. Singapore batted first and was all out for 129. Gold Coast defeated Singapore 7/130.
Today PNG will take on Gold Coast while Singapore will do battle with Hong Kong. Twenty – 20 matches will commence on Saturday with the finals on Sunday.
