The Port Moresby AFL Season has completed its round robin matches, with five teams left to battle it out in the finals series that will kick off this weekend.
In the Senior division, Concept Kobonis finished the regular season in first place, ahead of the Taurama Suns, Gordons Kokofas, Gerehu Magpies and Bomana Cats.
Kobonis, thanks to finishing in first, have this weekend off and will play the winner of the match between the Suns and Kokofas.
The winner between the Magpies and Cats will play the loser of the Suns and Kokofas clash, with the loser bowing out of the finals race.
Kokofas and Magpies also have teams in the top 5 in the Reserve and the Women’s divisions, who will also be fighting for a grand final spot.
The Grand Finals will be held on Saturday, September 26 at a venue still to be announced.
