Palais Thrash Tahiti

The PNG Palais have hrashed Tahiti 48 nil in what was an exhilarating match.

The game was off to a magnificent start right after kick off, with Menda Ipat scoring Papua New Guineas first try.

After scoring in the first minute, the Palais were backed by a vocal crowd, assisting with the build-up of momentum, allowing Priscilla Rema to score the second try.

Ipat scored two more tries, earning herself a hatrick, and Rema another, leaving the Palais in a comfortable lead of 27 points to nil at half time.

The second half was no different.

Palais captain, Dulcie Bomai scored within the opening 22 seconds of the game.

While this was an easy defeat for the Palais, they have 2 hours to prepare, before they take on their toughest competition, Australia tonight at 7.42pm.
